HSB Launches Online Broker E-Trading Platform in Ireland

June 10, 2020

Specialist engineering and technology insurer HSB, part of Munich Re, has expanded its e-trade offering by launching HSB Fast Track, its broker online trading platform, in Ireland.

The HSB Fast Track e-trade platform is offering brokers in Ireland a full suite of HSB products, including construction annual, construction project, contractors’ plant, computer and cyber – with more products planned for the future.

The launch in Ireland follows the successful roll-out of the system in the UK in 2019 and is part of HSB’s online distribution strategy.

HSB Fast Track is designed to make trading with HSB easier for brokers, providing a quick and easy way to quote and bind construction, technology, and engineering-based insurance products.

“Following the successful roll-out in the UK, we wanted to offer our state-of-the-art online services to our brokers in Ireland,” commented Stephen Coughlan, regional development manager – Ireland.

“Our e-trade platform has been designed to make construction and engineering products easy to trade electronically, and its development follows research and feedback from our brokers to ensure that HSB Fast Track is as comprehensive as possible,” Coughlan added.

HSB’s online platform and e-trade strategy is supported by a dedicated e-trade team, enabling brokers’ direct access to a specialist team of underwriters. Headed by Martin Parker, development manager, the team is focused on servicing all e-trade referrals, access requests, renewals and underwriting support queries.

“Central to our e-trade proposition is ensuring brokers have direct access to a dedicated team of specialist underwriters and a fast response to any e-trade queries they have,” said Parker.
