Community First Bankshares Inc. has acquired C. R. Motis Insurance Agency, a Wyoming insurance agency, through its affiliate, Community First Insurance Agencies Inc. The agency has offices in Casper, Cody, Green River and Laramie and total revenue of more than $1.5 million in 2000.
“This insurance acquisition enhances the presence of Community First in Wyoming,” said Mark Anderson, Community First’s president and CEO. “Gross revenue from our insurance business has increased from $4.3 million in 1995 to $10.6 million in 2000.”
Community First’s insurance companies provide insurance products in 46 locations serving communities in Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming.
