Twin City Agency Joins SIAA

May 1, 2002

Strategic Independent Agents Alliance (SIAA) announced that the Twin City Service Agency Inc., of Menominee, Mich., has established Superior Insurance Service (SIS) as an SIAA Strategic Master Agency.

With over 39 years of combined experience, William Caley will manage SIS, with Brian Caley managing Twin City Service Agency.

Twin City Insurance was founded in 1964 and is a third generation independent agency. In the early 1980’s, Twin City developed an agency cluster in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, which was later sold to cluster agency managers. A managing general agency was then established using various East Coast and territorial product lines.

“Market stability and availability is of primary consideration for our agency and clients.” says Brian Caley of SIS. “As an independent agent, we see SIAA as a conduit for opportunity and freedom to serve the insurance needs of our customers and prospects.”

The Chairman of SIAA, James A. Masiello says, “SIAA welcomes SIS to our rapidly growing SIAA Membership. As an SIAA Master Agency, SIS will provide the many SIAA advantages to those smaller agencies in their region that seek to grow while retaining their independence, and to direct writers, captive agents and life and financial service agents who wish to become independent Agents. Network members will benefit from access to additional markets and commission/profit sharing overrides and growth bonuses. SIS network members will not just survive in an unstable market, but they will thrive in it.”
