S.I.S. Launches New Company/Agent Software

October 31, 2002

Strategic Insurance Software, Inc. (S.I.S.), based in Gahanna, Ohio, announced the official launch of their new release of SEMCI PARTNER(R), a system that will put agents “one mouse click away from policy holder rating, changes, claims and billing lookups as featured on company websites.”

S.I.S. said it developed the new system after learning of “industry-wide annoyance that agency principals, producers and CSR’s voiced in the recently completed AUGIE survey — having to leave their agency management systems to log onto company sites and re-enter policy information.”

Nolan Davis, Systems Supervisor at S.I.S. stated, that the “Release 6.0 has many new features that our clients will really enjoy. Heading the list of enhancements is the new WebLink feature which allows SEMCI PARTNER(R) clients to seamlessly interact with company websites.”

S.I.S. focuses on developing agency management software that helps independent agents and the insurance carriers they represent transact business as simply and efficiently as possible. “S.I.S. continues to deliver on its goal to achieve excellence in insurance technology with SEMCI solutions”, Davis noted.

“State Auto Insurance, based in Columbus Ohio, was the first carrier to fully integrate their company agency website with SEMCI PARTNER(R),” said the announcement.

Noreen Johnson, the company’s VP of Information Technology, stated that “This is a major step forward for agency-company interface and is being well received by our agents that have had the WebLink feature enabled. Agents are now able to perform real time policy inquiry transactions including viewing company issued declaration pages, billing invoices, up to the minute payment status information and claims details.”
