Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced that it has acquired the Grandy Pratt Company, headquartered in Sioux City, Iowa, and their affiliate Grandy Pratt McCoy, Rosenberg and Associates of Des Moines, Iowa. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
“Founded in 1894, Grandy Pratt Company is one of the largest full-service insurance agencies in Iowa, offering risk management and commercial property/casualty insurance services for their clients located throughout the Midwest,” said the announcement. The agency also provides a variety of personal and commercial life, health and benefit products as well as financial planning and management services.
Grandy Pratt specializes in providing a wide range of products for their clients in the construction, manufacturing, financial services and health care industries.
The bulletin said that “Richard Mohl, Michael McCoy and their staff will continue to operate out of their current offices in Sioux City and Des Moines, Iowa under the direction of Steve Ring, Gallagher’s North Central Regional Manager.”
