Schaumburg, Ill.-based insurer Zurich North America announced that Denise H. DePrimo has been named senior vice president and profit center manager for Zurich North America Railroads.
DePrimo will lead the unit, which provides insurance coverages to railroad operators and contractors, in its underwriting, technical and marketing efforts. Established in 1994, the railroad unit has been committed to developing unique offerings to meet both the traditional and newly emerging needs of the rail industry.
DePrimo has 20 years of insurance experience, 14 of them in railroads. She joined Zurich NA Railroads in 1994 and has held key underwriting and senior management positions for that unit. Prior to joining Zurich, DePrimo worked at Continental Insurance in its railroad unit.
