Des Moines, Iowa-based property/casualty insurer Allied Insurance has joined the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America’s Trusted Choice branding campaign.
Allied, a division of exclusive-agent behemoth Nationwide, does business in 27 states and offers personal lines as well as business and farmowners insurance. The company is expanding to four additional states next year.
Trusted Choice was created by the Big I and leading agency system companies to highlight the benefits independent insurance agencies and brokerage firms provide consumers—choice of companies, customization of policies and advocacy support. After three years, only 4,000 independent agencies and 28 insurers are participating.
