Claims from a July 21 hailstorm in south central and southwestern North Dakota total more than $105 million, Insurance Commissioner Jim Poolman says.
“Year-end totals show that we were nearly $106 million in claims in total damage, with a total of about 20,700 claims filed between Bismarck, Mandan, Hettinger and New Salem,” Poolman said.
Some claims are still coming in, he said, and some homeowners are still repairing roof damage from the storm.
