Iowa Hawkeye-Security Names New President, CEO

Des Moines, Iowa-based Hawkeye-Security Insurance, a member of the Liberty Mutual Group, recently announced that David L. Lancaster has been appointed president and chief executive officer, effective August 16, 2006.

Lancaster most recently was Wausau Insurance senior vice president and general manager for Wausau’s Signature Division, where he was responsible for profitability, underwriting, and middle market customers. Prior to this position, he served in various capacities during his 22-year tenure with Wausau. Lancaster takes over at Hawkeye-Security Insurance for Michael D. Connell, who is appointed president and chief executive officer of Indiana Insurance, also a member of Liberty Mutual Group.
