Ohio Westfield Insurance’s Polansky Honored for Real-Time Tech Advances

Westfield Insurance’s Brady Polansky, CPCU, CIC, was recognized by Applied Systems Client Network (ASCnet), the user group of Applied Systems agency management system, for his industry wide contributions toward implementing real-time communication advancements for the independent agency systems.

Polansky, who serves as agency operations director in Westfield’s marketing group, received ASCnet’s highest individual honor for an insurer: Carrier Representative of the Year. The announcement was made at the association’s 21st Annual TENCon Technology, education and networking conference on September 29.

Polansky is actively involved in a number of trade groups including the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America’s Agents Council for Technology (ACT) and the Council for Best Practices. He also serves on the ACORD Standards Steering Committee, the ACORD User Group Information Exchange (AUGIE) and the Ohio Insurance Institute’s Education Committee.

“The agents’ adoption of real-time interfaces is critical to the future success of the independent agency distribution system,” said Polasky. “Automation consistency is not only necessary for errors and omissions protection, but also for operational efficiency to allow more time for proactive account servicing.”

Based in Altamonte Springs, Fla., the Applied Systems Client Network, Inc. (ASCnet) is an international association representing more than 110,000 insurance professionals in 11 countries and territories.
