Oswald Opens Minneapolis Office

Oswald Companies, an insurance brokerage firm, announced the opening of a Minneapolis office. The focus of the new office is business insurance solutions in property & casualty and benefits for manufacturing, retail, healthcare, logistics and family or closely held businesses. Oswald’s Minnesota operations, which are located in Minneapolis at 50 South Sixth St., will be lead by John Ratelle and Mike Jacobs.

According to the company’s written release, Ratelle, who has more than 25 years of experience, recently served as a leader of a national insurance provider’s Minnesota operations. His responsibilities included originating new property & casualty and benefits solutions.

Jacobs’ 20-year career in risk management has involved counseling executives in logistics and manufacturing industries. Prior to joining Oswald Companies, he was a risk management consultant and served as risk manager for one of the largest U.S. couriers.
