November 5, 2007

Ohio Casualty, a member of Liberty Mutual Group, announced that it was recently honored with three awards from Applied Systems Client Network (ASCnet), the user group for Applied Systems agency management technology, in recognition of Ohio Casualty’s efforts to implement download and real-time interface technology for its appointed agencies.

Ohio Casualty was presented with the top honor, the Ease of Doing Business Gold Award, for providing complete downloads in all areas and product lines. The company was also named the Personal Lines Interface Carrier of the Year for consistently and effectively implementing real-time in its appointed agencies’ personal lines operations. Ohio Casualty field marketing representative Byrin Bratcher was presented with the 2007 Carrier Field Representative Award, which recognizes a professional who achieves the highest impact in helping agents adopt real-time workflows.

“We are very honored to receive these prestigious ASCnet awards,” said Mike Winner, president and chief executive officer, Ohio Casualty. “We have a long tradition of fully supporting the independent agency system through our continuing efforts to provide real-time capabilities across all lines. As a new member of Liberty Mutual Agency Markets, we remain focused on building and maintaining strong relationships with our local independent agencies.”

Roger Barbe, assistant vice president, agency interface and business technology, Ohio Casualty, accepted the awards from newly-appointed ASCnet Interface Committee Chair Brian Bartosh during the 22nd Annual Technology, Education & Networking Conference, held recently in Orlando, Fla.
