Baldwin & Lyons Promotes 3 in Management Team

Baldwin & Lyons Inc., headquartered in Indianapolis, Ind., announced it has promoted Mark Bonini to executive vice president of Sales, Marketing and Underwriting; Jim Isham to senior vice president of Administration; and Craig Morfas to senior vice president of Claims, Legal and Corporate Secretary.

These management changes follow the December 2010 decision by the board of directors to name Joe DeVito the chief executive officer, in addition to his role as president and chief operating officer.

Employed by the company since 1985, Bonini previously served as the vice president of Sales and Marketing. In that role he was responsible for the distribution of all Protective and Sagamore products, as well as the company’s brokerage operations.

Isham, who has been with Baldwin & Lyons since 1984, has served as vice president of Administration and chief information officer for the last 20 years. He has been responsible for overseeing all information technology, computer operations, facilities, administration services and corporate communications.

Morfas, former vice president of Claims, joined Baldwin & Lyons in 1986. He has overseen all claims operations since 2007.

Since its founding in 1930, Baldwin & Lyons has specialized in providing property and casualty insurance products for companies in the transportation industry and is a recognized leader in these markets. In addition, the company now offers more than a dozen different specialty products, services and operates two insurance brokerage firms and four insurance companies.
