Merrill, Wis.-based Church Mutual Insurance Co., an insurer of religious organizations, announced that Bob Buckley is the new vice president — underwriting and policyholder services and Cheryl Kryshak is the new vice president — risk control.
Buckley has moved into Kryshak’s former role, while Kryshak’s position is a new one within the 116-year-old property/casualty company.
Kryshak joined Church Mutual in 1998 as a senior underwriter in its long-term care unit. She also has served as long-term care underwriting coordinator, assistant vice president — underwriting manager and vice president — underwriting. Kryshak has the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Certified Professional Insurance Woman (CPIW) designations.
Buckley joined Church Mutual in 1988 as a regional representative in New York. He was promoted to division manager in 1997 and eastern regional sales manager in 2005. Buckley also has served as assistant vice president — new markets and product research and development; vice president — corporate pricing, products, line services and new markets; and vice president — organizational planning and process management. His designations include CPCU and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).
