Amerisure Mutual Insurance Co. has promoted Jeffrey Trees to vice president of Infrastructure. Trees will continue to be based in Farmington Hills, Mich. and report to Shawn O’Rourke, chief technology officer with Amerisure.
In Trees’ new role, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a 24/7 environment which includes: data center, data center operations, production control, servers, networks, storage, end user devices, database administration, telephony and service desk. In addition, he plays a key role in the development and deployment of Amerisure’s Information Technology (IT) technical architecture and contributes to strategic and operational plans for the broader company.
Trees joined Amerisure in 2012 as assistant vice president of Information Technology. Prior to that, he directed Visteon Corp.’s global infrastructure and operations architecture and asset management programs.
