High Street Insurance Partners

Traverse City, Michigan-based national broker High Street Insurance Partners (HSIP) appointed Angela Williams partner and chief brand officer, and Emma Riza principal and chief development officer. Additionally, the company promoted Kevin Smith to principal and chief information officer.

All three leaders will join the executive leadership team and will report to Scott Goodreau, managing partner and chief operating officer.

Most recently, Williams was the chief marketing officer at Donnelley Financial Solutions in New York. Previously, she served as the chief marketing officer at Hub International, where she led the digital transformation of the brand.

Riza joins HSIP after previously serving as vice president of corporate development at CNA Financial. While at CNA she was responsible for enterprise-level strategy, as well as financial reporting to the board of directors.

Smith began serving the company as principal and information technology leader in January 2021. He previously served as a managing director at Arete Advisors and corporate director of information technology at Acrisure.

The appointments are the latest in a string of corporate developments as HSIP continues to build out its leadership team and strategies to support the national growth. HSIP has completed 48 acquisitions in 15 states from August 2018 to August 2021.

Alliant Insurance Services

Longtime benefits consultant Kurt Lindamood has joined Alliant as vice president, adding diverse expertise to its national employee benefits group. Lindamood, based in Columbus, Ohio, will provide strategic employee benefits solutions for clients throughout the Midwest region.

Lindamood has significant experience designing and deploying tailored employee benefits programs and solutions for companies spanning a breadth of industries and sizes. He joins Alliant with broad expertise in all areas of the benefits process, including strategic planning, outsourcing, compensation, and human resources consulting.

Prior to joining Alliant, Lindamood was engaged in business development and client relationship management with a global professional services firm offering retirement, investment, and health products and services.
