Recoop Names Jeffrey Marshall Chief Operating Officer, Kelly Anonson as Executive Chief of Sales

Recoop Disaster Insurance has named Jeffrey Marshall as chief operating officer and Kelly Anonson as executive chief of sales.

With the number and financial impact of natural disasters on the rise, the Recoop team has been expanding rapidly to extend its unique multi-peril disaster coverage product to more people coast to coast.

Prior to joining Recoop, Jeff spent more than 20 years in the reinsurance industry, most recently with Guy Carpenter. He’s worked in a variety of capacities including corporate accounting, analytics/catastrophe modeling, and most recently as a broker where he managed the marketing and placement of the Recoop reinsurance program.

Kelly brings more than 20 years of insurance industry experience and was most recently responsible for the national expansion of Principal Financial Group’s life, disability, and group benefit sales through strategic partnerships with Brokered General Agencies, Broker Dealers, and Insurance Marketing Organizations. Kelly also spent nine years at Marsh providing brokerage and consulting services to Fortune 1000 clients in the employee benefit space.

Headquartered in West Des Moines, Iowa, Recoop Disaster Insurance is a multi-peril disaster insurance product designed to quickly pay claims following a natural disaster.

Rockford Mutual Promotes Yesbeck, Plautz

Rockford Mutual Insurance Company has promoted Dan Yesbeck to assistant vice president of information technology. Yesbeck, who previously held the role of director of information technology, will continue to oversee Rockford Mutual’s software development and infrastructure team.

Rockford Mutual also also promoted Arica Plautz to agency manager. Previously an agency coordinator for Rockford Agency, a subsidiary of Rockford Mutual, Plautz will lead the agency staff in growing and expanding into new markets.

Based in Rockford, Illinois, Rockford Mutual writes primarily automobile, homeowners, farmowners, and commercial multi-peril in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana.
