Unison Risk Advisors Adds Fifth Third Bank Executive and Financial Planner to Leadership Team

Unison Risk Advisors (URA), headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, hired Joe DiRocco, formerly an executive with Fifth Third Bank, as its new chief financial officer. Brett Tomoff also joined the insurance brokerage and risk management firm as its vice president of financial planning and analysis.
DiRocco has over three decades of experience, most recently serving as the asset-based national sales manager at Fifth Third, where he was also the past regional president for Northeastern Ohio. His broad experience includes senior leadership roles in the commercial sector for various financial institutions, including Ohio president for Citizen’s Bank.
Tomoff is a CPA and a data-driven finance leader with 15 years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning, treasury, data analytics and IT. Before joining URA, Tomoff was most recently vice president of finance at TravelCenters of America, where he helped modernize financial operations, implement new performance metrics, and helped integrate the company into BP after it was acquired in 2023. Earlier in his career, Tomoff worked at KPMG in the consulting practice, focusing on financial and operational consulting for clients across a range of industries.
AXA XL Names Hermann Head of Property for Central Zone
AXA XL, headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, appointed Lindsay Hermann as the new head of property for its central zone, based in Chicago and reporting to Michele Sansone, AXA XL’s chief underwriting officer, property and multinational solutions, Americas.
Hermann will lead a regional property underwriting team providing clients with insurance protection for their most complex property risks.
