Humana Inc. will sell its workers’ compensation services unit, Humana Workers’ Compensation Services through a management buyout. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The unit will be renamed at the close of the transaction, and will be headquartered in Longwood, Florida, and will continue to service existing customers and contracts.
The sale will reportedly allow Humana to focus on its core business of health insurance.
