Big “I” Markets, an online market-access program created by the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA), is now offering short and long-term event liability insurance that association members in 36 states and the District of Columbia can access.

Gales Creek Insurance Services, Inc. (GCIS), a full-service independent agency based in Portland, Ore. with a branch office in Cambridge, Mass. and an IIABA member, is managing Big “I” Markets’ new event liability insurance program.

Coverage is available for facilities, event planners or private individuals. The program is placed with an “A”-rated insurer, and GCIS provides program rates.

Coverage is available for single and multiple-day events including: festivals, concerts, weddings, trade shows/conventions, political campaigns, private parties, theater/plays, short-term productions, receptions, dances, exhibitions, lectures, workshops, athletic events, parades, golf (hole-in-one) events, festivals and more.

Gales Creek special event liability offers:

• A-rated, admitted insurer;
• Per-event aggregate;
• Facility named as an additional insured;
• Contractual liability afforded;
• Host liquor coverage afforded (not in the business of serving and selling); and
