ConfirmNet Unveils Auto ID Card Service

February 24, 2003

ConfirmNet Corporation, a supplier of online solutions for insurance certificate management, introduced an ID card service for agents and brokers to offer to businesses with vehicle fleets.

Policyholders can request auto ID cards 24×7 in bulk over e-mail, fax or mail via ConfirmNet, according to Jennifer Madsen, vice president of client services and sales.

“ID cars are similar to insurance certificates as they generally are a labor intensive and non-revenue-generating task,” Madsen said. “The cards usually are needed immediately – when purchasing a vehicle or renewing a policy. Insureds have the convenience of 24×7 information access and ID delivery. And agents can increase client satisfaction and reduce their workloads at the same time.”

For the new offering, ConfirmNet (www.confirmnet.com) is leveraging ODEN Insurance Services, which maintains currently filed state regulations and requirements online in all 50 states. This ensures the driver of the vehicle has the appropriate ID card regulated by that jurisdiction, according to Madsen.
