CNA E&S Appoints Noodle Specialty Brokers for Property/Liability Products

November 16, 2005

Noodle Specialty Brokers (NSB), a division of InsuranceNoodle (www.insurancenoodle.com), announced it has been appointed by CNA E&S to underwrite and distribute select products from the E&S division.

CNA E&S is written through Columbia Casualty Co.

The first program to be launched is special events coverage for non-profit organizations. Other programs developed for convenience stores and auto repair shops are currently in the development phase.

According to Don Urbanciz, CEO of InsuranceVianet, InsuranceNoodle’s holding company, “We want to be the first port-of-call for our partner agents when it comes to servicing their small business customers. CNA not only offers a broad array of products and programs to help businesses minimize potential risks, it is aligned with NSB and InsuranceNoodle’s forward-thinking approach to distributing products and challenging the paradigm of providing the right insurance solutions for small businesses with unique coverage needs.”

Insurance agents will also see a productivity improvement, Urbanciz noted. “Agents only have to complete one online submission to either get quotes from admitted markets or, where no admitted market exists, get a quote from a surplus lines carrier, such as CNA E&S. No more paper forms and supplemental applications to fill out when the admitted markets decline a risk. Agents can focus more on the production and less on the administration.”
