Guy Carpenter & Co., Inc., the global risk and reinsurance specialist and part of the Marsh & McLennan Companies, has appointed of Eric “Rick” Johnson as senior vice president.
Johnson will focus on continued growth of the firm’s property and casualty business throughout the Mid-America region and will be based in Guy Carpenter’s Minneapolis office, reporting to Managing Directors Ralph Bone and Tim McGrath.
Johnson was most recently senior vice president at Willis Re Inc., where he was a broker. Prior to joining Willis Re, he was at E.W. Blanch. Johnson has also held positions at MSI Insurance and Boulay, Heutmaker, Zibell & Company.
