Available in 38 states plus the District of Columbia, the new policy form now covers a broader range of the accounting profession – from accountants in small tax preparation firms to those in larger CPA audit firms.
“Interpretation of today’s regulations sometimes means that CPAs can do all the right things yet still be hit with costly lawsuits. LIU and Lemme give accountants insurance peace of mind so they can focus on growing their practices,” said Justin Camara, vice president of professional liability for Liberty International Underwriters.
LIU’s program is geared to provide coverage especially for companies employing up to 100 accounting professionals.
