Ironshore Hires 3 Key Executives for Professional Liability Unit IronPro

Three industry executives, including two from AIG, have joined IronPro, the professional liability facility of Bermuda’s Ironshore, Inc.

Tom Leahy joins as senior vice president of Underwriting and will manage the New York-based underwriting teams.

Leahy has 13 years of insurance industry experience including most recently serving as executive vice president, National Accounts Division of AIG Executive Liability, a subsidiary of American International Group, Inc. Prior to AIG, he was vice president of Global Specialty Risk and underwriting manager for Reliance National Insurance.

Jeremy Frumkin and David Rogers have been hired to with manage regional distribution and business development for the Western and Central regions, respectively.

Frumkin joins IronPro as an assistant vice president located in San Francisco. Prior to joining IronPro, he was branch manager for National Accounts Division of AIG Executive Liability.

Rogers also joins as an assistant vice president and will be based in Chicago. He previously worked in the professional lines group at Endurance Insurance in Bermuda and prior to that worked in Chicago for Chubb and Marsh.

Both Frumkin and Rogers will report into Peter McKeegan, senior vice president of IronPro.

IronPro was launched in May 2007 by Ironshore to provide professional liability insurance, with an initial focus on Directors and Officers Liability products.

Ironshore Inc. was created in December 2006 with over $1 billion in equity capital to meet specialty insurance market needs through its various subsidiaries.
