Farmington, Conn.-based Darwin Professional Underwriters, Inc. reports it has signed a marketing relationship with Agency Specialty Product Network Insurance Services, Inc. (ASPN).
Under the arrangement, ASPN’s nationwide team will aim to increase awareness of Darwin’s professional liability and errors and omissions coverages, including its media liability, technology E&O and managed care organization E&O, among others.
ASPN, a unit of Aon Corp., and operates as a marketing arm for more than 25 companies including insurance carriers, wholesalers, managing general underwriters and insurance services companies. It is not a broker and does not place business for its producer partners.
“Since our founding, Darwin has limited distribution to selected agents and brokers. This model is not changing. What we are setting out to accomplish here is an increased appreciation for Darwin’s value proposition and greater demand for our products and services,” said Stephen Sills, president of Darwin
