Today many warehouse and storage facilities are under-valued and under-insured, particularly when it comes to catastrophe coverage, according to Chartwell. Facility owners may be unaware that they are at risk for catastrophe perils, while agents and brokers are often left with the task of engaging in a lengthy process to ensure adequate coverage for these types of exposures.
