RLI Corp. has created a new Professional Services Group to expand its capabilities within the professional services market. The new group, formed by a merger of three existing products, will offer a portfolio of solutions to serve the growing number of professional services firms.
“The number of professional service firms continues to expand rapidly and create new opportunities despite a weak economy,” said Michael Stone, RLI Insurance Co. president & COO.
The Professional Services Group will provide design professionals, technology professionals, and target professionals with a holistic suite of property, casualty and professional liability solutions to protect against a multitude of exposures. In addition, the group will complement its insurance coverages with risk management and continuing education services.
The new Professional Services Group will be led by L. Lenny Waldhauser, vice president, who has been with RLI since 2008. Waldhauser previously served as vice president of the RLI Design Professionals Group.
RLI’s Professional Services Group will be open to a limited network of current and newly appointed specialty brokers.
