Trinity Underwriting Managers, Inc. (TUMI), a Georgia based program administrator, has established a local and intermediate trucking program. This product is underwritten on behalf of an ‘A’ rated carrier and is backed by two ‘A+’ rated reinsurers. Target risks will operate within a 300 mile radius and a wide array of classes will be considered. Coverage is offered on a non-admitted basis and includes auto liability, general liability, cargo and physical damage.
This program incepted on March 1 and is available in all states that allow primary auto liability to be written on a non-admitted basis. Policies are now being quoted through appointed retail agents.
Founded in 2008, TUMI is a program manager and Lloyd’s Coverholder that underwrites niche transportation programs on a nationwide basis. TUMI operates a wholesale division which places those risks that fall outside the parameters of their established program underwriting guidelines.
