Schinnerer Partners With Cloud Provider on Cyber Security Protection

Victor O. Schinnerer & Company and Spanning, an EMC company and provider of SaaS data protection, have released a new cyber security protection product.

The collaboration, with help from Microsoft, is designed to help small and mid-size organizations safeguard their business and data with a suite of risk management and data protection options, including the Schinnerer Cyber Protection Package, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite, and Spanning Backup for Office 365.

The cyber security protection product includes:

• Schinnerer’s Cyber Protection Package Insurance coverage for digital crime, breach liability, and breach rectification.
• Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS): Combines Office apps with the power of the cloud, and together includes data encryption, identity and access management, information protection, device and application management and cyber intrusion detection. It also comes with 24/7 technical phone support for critical issues.
• Spanning Backup for Office 365: A SaaS data protection option that provides daily, automated backups of data stored in Office 365 mail, calendars and One Drive for Business enabling data restoration in the event of a data loss event.

The cyber insurance and cloud-services options are available through Schinnerer’s network of licensed insurance brokers and Microsoft’s and Spanning’s network of cloud providers.

Insureds that purchase and/or have an active Microsoft Office 365 license and Spanning Backup for Office 365 may be eligible for a Schinnerer Cyber Protection Package policy discount.
