Beazley Forms ‘Anything Lineslip’ for Hard-To-Place Professional Liability Risks

April 6, 2017

Beazley has launched the new Anything Lineslip in London offering terms for all U.S. management, professional, cyber and healthcare liability risks.

The Anything Lineslip is led by Beazley, supported by a number of other carriers including Antares and ARK 4020 (Specialty Programs), and will seek to quote any U.S. risk in the above classes that can be legally underwritten, provided that no other London insurer offers terms.

The new lineslip follows Beazley’s history of developing products to cover new and emerging risks. These include the industry-leading Beazley Breach Response for cyber insurance; in 2016, Beazley launched Cancellation Plus to insure events suffering diminished sales due to adverse weather; and Beazley Flight, a response and evacuation service for organizations.

According to Adrian Cox, Beazley’s head of specialty lines, the Anything Lineslip will gived brokers placing these US liability risks in London an option when other markets will not write a risk.

Beazley is the parent company of specialist insurance businesses with operations in Europe, the US, Latin America, Asia, the Middle East and Australia. Beazley manages six Lloyd’s syndicates. Its underwriters in the United States focus on writing a range of specialist insurance products. In the admitted market, coverage is provided by Beazley Insurance Company, Inc., and in the surplus lines market, coverage is provided by the Beazley syndicates at Lloyd’s.
