EIURS Adds Marine Energy Unit to Energy Division

Energy, Industrial & Utility Risk Solutions (EIURS), a division of DUAL Commercial, has expanded its Energy Division with the addition of a new marine energy unit. The new unit will be headed by Michael Jacobs.

The Marine Energy unit will focus on the underserved middle market segment. The liability lines of business offered are: marine general liability, ship repairers, terminal operators, stevedores, wharfingers bumbershoot (up to $5 million capacity), marine employers liability, hull and P&I. EIURS will be writing on behalf of an A XV carrier. The program is nationwide and is dedicated to wholesalers.

The carrier provides market-leading and value-added services such as; global risk management and worldwide claims handling.

Jon Beckham, CEO DUAL Commercial, said the company DUAL is highly committed to the expansion of its Energy Division and says the new Marine Energy unit is a natural fit for the company.
