Everest Underwriting Partners, a unit of Everest Insurance, has expanded its existing Forest & Logging program with underwriting manager Victor O. Schinnerer & Company to include inland marine coverage.
According Steve Falecki, vice president of Schinnerer’s Forest & Logging underwriting unit, logging clients have been asking for an inland marine coverage to protect their equipment from fire, theft, rollovers and other hazards.
The inland marine coverage rounds out the Forest & Logging program’s other insurance offerings including loggers broad form property damage, commercial auto, and general liability for clients involved in logging, log hauling and chipping. Inland marine coverage is will be available in all states except N.Y. on an admitted basis.
