JLT Re (North America) has appointed Scott MacColl as head of Credit and Surety for North America. In addition to his role in North America, he will be working with global teams to help build out this specialized practice area for JLT Re.
MacColl joins JLT Re with 30 years of credit and surety experience. Most recently he was with Guy Carpenter in the Philadelphia area, serving as managing director for the Surety Specialty group since 2005. Prior to that, for almost six years he was vice president at American Re (now Munich Re America), responsible for managing and growing the surety, fidelity, trade credit, and political risk product lines. Before American Re, he was with Cigna/Ace for seven years in international surety with a focus on Latin American, European and Australian regions.
MacColl will join JLT Re subject to his contractual obligations.
