The Hanover Insurance Group has hired Denise M. Lowsley to be executive vice president and chief human resources officer.
Lowsley will focus on the Massachusetts-based insurance carrier’s human capital strategy and its collaborative culture.
Lowsley has 20 years of experience in the property/casualty business. She joins The Hanover after more than 10 years with specialty insurer Navigators Group, which was recently bought by The Hartford. She was senior vice president and chief human resources officer at Navigators. Before joining Navigators, Lowsley was international vice president, compensation and benefits, at New York Life Insurance Co. She began her insurance career in 1997 at Liberty Mutual Insurance, rising to the role of global human resources manager.
