Risk Placement Services has enhanced its Crisis Protect product for clients, in response to the evolving risk landscape.

In partnership with R3 Continuum, a U.S. crisis consulting firm, the Crisis Protect product now gives clients access to additional professional advice, plus regular bulletins and guidance, to help understand current security threats and crises to their business.

Crisis Protect is a crisis management service for small businesses, offering indemnities for first and third parties (first party: $1 million, up to five locations; third party: $100,000). Additionally, it provides crisis response consultant costs up to $1 million for pre- and post-incident risk management services for a wide range of security events such as civil commotion, radicalization, hostage crisis and threats.

According to Comber McHugh, senior national broker, the enhanced product will help clients meet their duty of care to employees; meet regulatory and legal obligations in regard to protecting their people; and ensure they are best placed to recover and rebuild should a crisis occur.

Crisis Protect has a flat annual premium of $2,000 for up to five locations of choice and businesses with revenues of less than $250 million. The product also enables clients to access immediate emergency consulting support with costs covered up to $1 million.

Available to quote-bind-issue online, independent agents and brokers can secure crisis management coverage for their clients in three minutes or less.

Risk Placement Services is a specialty insurance product distributor, offering wholesale brokerage, binding authority, programs, standard lines, and specialized auto products through its Pronto Insurance brand. Headquartered in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, RPS has more than 80 offices nationwide.
