TigerRisk Names Former Harbor Hill Solutions CEO Kilduff to Head MGA Unit

TigerRisk Partners LLC, the Stamford, Conn.-based re/insurance broker, announced the appointment of Jim Kilduff to head up the company’s managing general agents (MGA) business.

Kilduff has 17 years of experience in the reinsurance industry and over 20 years of experience in the MGA and program space. He joins from Harbor Hill Solutions, where he was chief executive officer and has extensive experience of helping MGAs to find and secure carrier partners, as well as working with insurtechs, program managers, insurance and reinsurance companies, and retail and wholesale distributors.

He previously held senior positions with companies including Outdoorsy Insurance Group, State National Insurance Companies, Morgan White Group, and Unique Capital Solutions.

Kilduff, who has a Bachelor of Science degree in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Alabama, will be based in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. He will report to Lindsey Frase, who heads Centers for Excellence at TigerRisk for North America, and his job title will be head of Programs.

TigerRisk has offices in Stamford, New York, Bermuda, London, Hong Kong, Minneapolis, Chicago and Raleigh.

AXA XL Insurance Promotes Gittler to Head of Cyber & Technology, Americas

AXA XL Insurance announced Jeremy Gittler as head of Cyber and Technology for the Americas, based in New York. In his new role, Gittler will manage AXA XL’s cyber portfolio and will develop the regional underwriting strategy and product innovation in the Americas.

Gittler has more than 15 years of cyber claims experience, most recently as the practice leader and head of Cyber Claims in the Americas region for AXA XL. Prior to joining AXA XL in 2012, Gittler served as a senior complex claim director for cyber and technology at AIG. Before entering the insurance industry, he practiced law at Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP for nearly seven years. Mr. Gittler received his Juris Doctor degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and graduated with honors from Emory University.
