Betterview Analytics Now Offered via OneShield
Property data firm Betterview, which serves property/casualty insurance companies, is now partnering with core system provider, OneShield Software, to make the its property intelligence and risk management platform available to OneShield’s insurer clients.
The integration of Betterview’s predictive analytics, including data provided by its 100-point Roof Spotlight Index, its Defensible Space feature, and a Wildfire Risk Insights tool into OneShield’s offerings promises to increase insurers’ underwriting accuracy and improve expense ratios substantially.
Betterview leverages a combination of aerial imagery, computer vision, and third-party data to help P/C insurers streamline underwriting and inspections efficiency and predict and prevent losses. The Betterview platform utilizes a combination of machine learning algorithms, and a wide selection of public, private, and commercial property data to help P/C insurers get a holistic view of real property risk.
“Partnering with OneShield will help underwriters access the best available property intelligence solutions in a single location,” said Armin Monajemi, vice president of strategic partnerships at Betterview.
OneShield Software offers cloud-based core software programs for P/C insurers and managing general agencies of all sizes. OneShield’s portfolio of standalone, subscription, and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products includes enterprise-class policy management, billing, claims, rating, product configuration, business intelligence, and smart analytics.
Novidea Partners with Certificial for Certificate of Insurance Issuance
Insurance agency platform Novidea and Certificial, a certificate of insurance network with real-time data, announced a partnership to turn the process of issuing certificates of insurance into a fully digital experience.
Through this partnership, Certificial’s Smart COI will work natively in the Novidea agency management platform, making the necessary function of certificate issuance more efficient. Agents and commercial lines policyholders gain real-time access to the most current COI on file.
The full integration with Certificial is scheduled to go live for Novidea customers in the third quarter of 2022.
Verisk Integrates Claims Programs With IMGING Property Data
Insurance adjusters and contractors can now expedite the estimate creation process with a new integration between Verisk’s claims-handling program, Xactimate and XactAnalysis, and Loveland Innovations’ IMGING property inspection data platform.
This new integration results in artificial intelligence and data-driven property adjusting that provides 3-D models and measurements of structures while keeping estimators safely off roofs.
Loveland Innovations’ IMGING serves as a centralized hub of analysis and capture for all property data for insurance carriers, roofers and contractors. It automates drone flights, makes consistent data capture easy and provides 3-D models and measurements. It also organizes photos in the cloud and identifies potential damage for review and simplifies data reporting and collaboration.
