People Moves: Law Firm Constangy Expands With New Cyber Team; Kimball Hughes PR Promotes Coyne; NFP Hires Ferreira to Lead Pro Liability

National labor and employment law firm Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete welcome a 44-member team, including 32 experienced attorneys, in a significant expansion of the firm’s cybersecurity & data privacy practice. The attorneys who will be joining the Constangy Cyber Team are located across 17 cities in 12 states, and are driving the opening of new offices for Constangy in Baltimore, Indianapolis, Philadelphia, Portland, Seattle and Washington, DC.

The expanded practice group will be led by chair Sean Hoar and vice-chairs Richard Goldberg, Lindsay Nickle, Sarah Rugnetta, Allen Sattler, and Alyssa Watzman.

“There is a powerful synergy between our cybersecurity and data privacy services and Constangy’s experience in advising companies across complex regulatory and litigation environments,” Hoar said. “We are excited to join their professionals, add value to existing client relationships, and continue to increase our incident response and compliance advisory services as the new Constangy Cyber Team.”

In addition to expanding Constangy’s legal service offerings, this continues the firm’s growth strategy to increase the firm’s footprint, which included the addition of more than 10 new attorneys in 2022 and new offices in Northern New Jersey and San Diego.

Kimball Hughes Public Relations Promotes Coyne to VP

Kimball Hughes Public Relations, a national agency based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has promoted Eileen Coyne to vice president. Coyne, who previously served as director of public relations, will take on a new, more strategic role providing overall client management and business development support across the agency.

After beginning her career as a journalist in Washington, DC, Coyne spent 18 years in corporate communications, consulting and agency roles. She joined Kimball Hughes in 2016 and has played a key role in the agency’s double-digit growth in recent years, including adding eight new clients across the insurance and technology industries.

NFP Welcomes Ferreira to its Management, Cyber and Professional Liability Practice

NFP has hired John Ferreira as a senior vice president and professional liability practice leader within NFP’s management, cyber and professional liability practice. In this role, Ferreira will work with clients to develop insurance and risk mitigation strategies.

Ferreira comes to NFP from Chamber Insurance Agency Services, where he served in various roles, most recently as executive vice president. He previously served as senior vice president at Jamison Insurance Group. He brings over 30 years of experience developing strategies to address risks affecting professional clients and their businesses.
