AXA XL Adds to U.S. Mid-Market Team

AXA XL Insurance continues to build out its U.S. Mid-Market business with the recent addition of Bennett Turner as head of strategy and operations and Christopher Fallon, head of analytics.

Turner joins AXA XL from Liberty Mutual where he most recently led its equipment breakdown business including direct insurance and reinsurance for commercial businesses and homeowners. His 14-year tenure at Liberty also included positions within its large commercial insurance, group benefits and treasury units.

Fallon brings to the team nearly 20 years of extensive experience in the P/C and financial services industries. He also joins from Liberty Mutual where he most recently served as a senior director for casualty and specialty lines analytics.

Turner and Fallon will be based in Boston and report to Matt Waters, head of U.S. Middle Market.

Zurich Resilience Solutions Names Head of Sustainability Services for North America

Lisa Leftwich has joined Zurich Resilience Solutions as head of sustainability services, a new role within the organization.

Leftwich, at Zurich since 2015, will be responsible for profitable growth for all Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) services across the business. She will manage a team that provides Environmental Sustainability Services (including Carbon Advisory), Business Resilience Services (including Business Continuity Planning and Supply Chain Management) and Workplace DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) Services. She will also collaborate with the Sustainability Underwriting Office under Mark Way, Head of Sustainability Underwriting.

Leftwich will report to Tom Fioretti, head of Zurich Resilience Solutions North America.

Mace Joins Lockton Affinity as Producer Member, Latitude Risk

David Mace has joined Lockton Affinity as producer member for Lockton Affinity’s recently launched crisis management and global casualty insurance practice, Latitude Risk. Lockton Affinity is headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas.

Mace formerly served as former executive vice president of product for FocusPoint International and has more than 18 years of experience in special risk underwriting, brokerage and incident response. Mace was a founder of SportifyInsurance and has previously served as Americas representative at Griffin Underwriting, Ltd. and assistant vice president – zonal manager, crisis management division at AIG.
