AIG Appoints Dandridge EVP and Chief Marketing & Communications Officer

American International Group, headquartered in New York, N.Y., hired Edward L. Dandridge as executive vice president and chief marketing and communications officer, effective Oct. 16. During his tenure at AIG, Dandridge has served as chief marketing and communications officer of general insurance.

Dandridge has more than 30 years of leadership experience, including senior vice president and chief communications officer of Boeing and chief marketing and communications officer of Marsh & McLennan.

NAMIC Introduces Greater New York Insurance’s Liz Heck as New Chair

The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies introduced Liz Heck as its 2023-2024 board chair. Heck is president, CEO, and chair of Greater New York Mutual Insurance Companies.

Heck began her career in insurance in 1990 as senior accounting officer for Home Insurance Company. She spent a five-year stint as controller for GRE Insurance Group before joining Greater New York as vice president and controller. After promotions to chief financial officer and treasurer in 2005 and president and chief operating officer in 2010, Heck took her current position in 2014.
