BMS Group Appoints Andras Bohm as Head of U.S. Capital Advisory

BMS Group announced the appointment of Andras Bohm as the head of its U.S. capital advisory business and the CEO of BMS Capital Advisory, Inc. (BMS Groups’ U.S. broker-dealer). Bohm will be responsible for leading the broker’s investment banking and legacy solutions team in New York, working with his UK and Bermuda counterparts and will report to BMS Re CEO, Pete Chandler.

Bohm joins BMS from Swiss Re Capital Markets, where he led the team’s structuring activities in the Americas. Over the past decade, he has supported clients in executing more than 70 transactions with a total amount of over $15 billion.

NIP Group Names Lindemann SVP and General Counsel

NIP Group, headquartered in Woodbridge, N.J., appointed Erik Lindemann as senior vice president and general counsel.

Lindemann has over 20 years of experience as outside counsel and, for the last 10 years, as in-house counsel to two insurers.

Ascot Names Stoik to Head of Marine

Ascot Group named Pat Stoik executive vice president, head of marine, Ascot U.S., effective October 24. He will be based in New York and will report directly to Matt Kramer, CEO, Ascot U.S.

Stoik brings more than 35 years of senior management, underwriting, and broker experience to Ascot. Most recently, he served as chief risk officer for Overhaul Group, Inc. Stoik has also spent time at major P/C insurance companies including Great American Insurance Group, where he oversaw four underwriting divisions – including ocean and inland marine, in the U.S. and Europe. He began his insurance career at Chubb, where he spent more than 25 years in roles of increasing responsibility.
