Everest Insurance Names Buonpane to Head of Casualty Specialty Lines and Industry Practices
Everest Insurance North America, headquartered in Warren, New Jersey, hired Stephen Buonpane to the newly created role of senior vice president, casualty specialty lines and industry practices. Buonpane will grow Everest’s casualty specialty lines, including energy, life sciences, and environmental, and expand the company’s industry practices group.
Before joining Everest, Buonpane served as executive vice president and construction industry practice leader with Chubb. He also worked as co-founder and chief insurance officer for Shepherd, catering to the commercial construction space.
Allied World North America Appoints Kranz as Architects & Engineers Division Lead
Allied World Assurance Company Holdings, Ltd, headquartered in New York City, appointed Joshua Kranz as senior vice president, North America architects & engineers division. Kranz succeeds Doug Hamilton, who will retire on July 5 and continue in a consulting role.
Kranz has over 25 years of professional liability experience, most recently serving as professional liability national practice leader at Everest Insurance, where he was responsible for building out the underwriting and claims operations.
