Mosaic, headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda, has added 13 U.S. environmental risk specialists to its team.
Team members include Assistant Vice President Iraj Dehnavi, Senior Vice President Maureen Domenicone, Vice President Patrick Enderlin, Senior Vice President Patrick Grassl, Senior Vice President Max Horn, Senior Vice President Noelle Macdonald, Senior Vice President Karen Reilly, Senior Vice President Rob Stedman, Vice President Melissa Sweeney, Assistant Vice President Sophia Terzulli, Senior Vice President Dan Weber and Vice President Vesta Zavistauskaite. Claims specialist Thomas Duggan also joins the company as Head of Environmental Claims.
The hires mark the next stage of growth for Mosaic’s Environmental Liability division which the company launched less than two years ago. Specialists are now located across the US—in New York, Atlanta, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, New Orleans and Boulder, Colorado. They join an existing team of seven U.S. and international environmental risk experts based in London, Toronto and Philadelphia serving markets in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, Central America, and Europe.
The team buildout follows Mosaic’s move to New York City premises on 42nd Street earlier this year and its July hiring of Toby Smith as its new Americas CEO.
The team includes senior specialists with experience handling risks across broad segments of the market, including energy, manufacturing, chemical, real estate, municipal, transactional and development exposures, as well as creating solutions for emerging markets like energy transition, with product expertise in areas such as carbon sequestration exposures and tax liabilities.
