SalvageSale Announces Management Changes

September 19, 2002

SalvageSale Inc., the Houston-based online salvage marketplace and salvor services provider for the claims recovery and commercial salvage markets, announced that Thomas DiSarlo has joined its subsidiary, SalvageSale Services Inc. as vice president. In addition, the company named Danny Pitchley as its new client services representative in London.

DiSarlo has 10 years experience working with large, complex commercial property claims as a salvor and consultant for the insurer, risk manager and self-insured client. He spent over seven years as a project manager and loss consultant with Stoner & Company, Inc. and most recently served as the New York manager for Callan Salvage & Appraisal Co. In his career, DiSarlo has managed losses from significant catastrophic events including Hurricanes Floyd and Georges, and the World Trade Center.

Pitchley has over 10 years of claims recovery experience primarily as a marine claims broker with JLT Risk Solutions. Pitchley was also a senior claims broker with Aon Group Ltd., and most recently as an insurance manager with a commodities trading company.

SalvageSale has made significant progress in London over the past few years, particularly among marine, property and aviation underwriters. This new position expands SalvageSale’s presence in the U.K. and Europe, and allows the company to more effectively service European-based clients with a seasoned, full-service representative in this important market.

Pitchley will be responsible for managing existing relationships and fostering new business development opportunities with London and European-based clients.
