Palmer & Cay Consulting Group, the benefits and compensation consulting division of Palmer & Cay Inc., announced an expansion of its operations to include an office in Houston, Texas.
This latest expansion move by Savannah, Ga.-based Palmer & Cay brings the firm’s total number of locations to 28 offices throughout 17 states and the District of Columbia. Established in 1868, Palmer & Cay employs 850 associates and is currently ranked as the second largest privately-held insurance brokerage and benefits consulting firm in the nation.
Joining Palmer & Cay Consulting Group’s newest office are seven Houston-area benefit consulting professionals including Steve D. Hoffman and Trudy Joseph, two senior executives formerly employed with the Houston office of an international insurance brokerage and benefits consulting firm. Both Hoffman and Joseph have been named principals in Palmer& Cay’s health and welfare consulting practice.
In addition to health and welfare consulting services, Palmer & Cay Consulting Group provides actuarial and retirement plan services, compensation consulting, investment advisory services, and human resource consulting to clients throughout the United States. Palmer & Cay’s property-casualty division provides commercial and personal insurance brokerage services, risk management consulting and claims consulting.
