CAA Member Duncan, Fraser & Bridges Earns ACSR Award

July 9, 2003

The Combined Agents of America, LLC (CAA) announced that the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT) has awarded CAA member Duncan, Fraser and Bridges Insurance Agency Inc., Pampa, TX, the “Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) Honor Roll Agency” distinction.

This is the twelfth CAA member agency to receive the ACSR distinction. Out of the 112 ACSR honor roll agencies, CAA member agencies now embody 10 percent of the list.
CAA is a managing general agency (MGA) committed to strengthening the independent insurance agency system through profitable growth, quality and service for its Member Agencies.

“A distinct quality of independent insurance agents is the personal service customers receive. All of our CSRs are dedicated to excellence and have now achieved the ACSR designation. In addition, several are cross- trained for both Personal and Commercial lines while others continue to strive toward their double designation,” said Bill Bridges, executive vice president of Duncan, Fraser and Bridges Insurance Agency Inc.

IIAT recognizes independent insurance agencies state-wide for supporting the professional development of their service staff by participating in IIAT’s ACSR program. The selection of honor roll agencies is based on: The percentage of ACSRs in the agency; the commitment to cross-training as evidenced by the number of dual ACSR designees (personal and commercial lines); and the use of the ACSR designation as part of the CSR’s career path.

“We are very proud that so many of our member agencies have achieved the ACSR distinction. CAA’s success-to-date can be attributed to the high caliber agencies involved in our organization,” said Jim Whorton, CAA chairman and president of Whorton Insurance Services, Austin, Texas.

“We congratulate CAA members for their commitment to professional development. And specifically we applaud Duncan, Fraser and Bridges Insurance Agency Inc. on earning the ACSR distinction, a tremendous benefit to customers, insurance companies and the independent agency system,” said Paul Z. Martin, director of Education for Independent Insurance Agents of Texas.
