Bridgefield Casualty Expands to Arkansas

Summit Holding Southeast Inc., a specialist in workers’ compensation insurance services, announced that it is expanding the operation of its Bridgefield Casualty Insurance Company subsidiary to Arkansas. Summit’s Southwest Region office, located in Baton Rouge, La., will manage the day-to-day operations for Bridgefield Casualty in Arkansas.

Bridgefield Casualty is rated “A” (Excellent) by A.M. Best Company. The company offers employers comprehensive workers’ compensation insurance services, including loss control, premium audits and claims handling.

Rick Hodges, Summit’s president and CEO, says, “The ‘A’ rating has made Bridgefield a popular choice with business owners in the Southeast. It is a strong and competitive product that is tailor-made for small and medium-sized business.”
