2004 ACSR of the Year Nominations Sought

The Independent Insurance Agents of Texas announced that it will accept nominations for the 2004 ACSR of the Year award until March 15. The award will be presented at IIAT’s convention June 10-12 in Dallas.

This annual award promotes the importance of the role of the customer service representative to the agency and the independent agency system including the citizens and communities of Texas. The award goes to the ACSR who has given of his or her talent, time and energy for the betterment of the agency and the community.

To qualify a candidate must hold the national Accredited Customer Service Representative designation and be affiliated with an IIAT-member independent insurance agency. The Texas ACSR of the Year is automatically nominated for the IIABA ACSR of the Year Award. Previously three Texas winners have also been national winners. The nomination form is available on the IIAT web site at www.iiat.org under Education, ACSR Program.

Recognition for winning in Texas includes a $1,000 prize sponsored by Myron F. Steves and Co., Houston, and travel expenses and registration to IIAT’s annual convention.
