Sandlin Named New Practice Leader at Summit Global

Insurance brokerage and consulting firm Summit Global Partners of Texas Inc. announced the selection of Diane N. Sandlin as property and casualty practice leader of its Austin and Houston offices.

Sandlin will manage SGP’s relationships with underwriters serving both offices and oversee customer services for its property and casualty clients.

“Sandlin is an accomplished insurance professional with extensive management experience that will enable her to lead the property and casualty operations,” said Daryll W. Martin, executive vice president of Summit Global Partners of Texas – Austin/Houston. “Our offices in Austin and Houston are growing rapidly, and Sandlin is a perfect fit for SGP’s client-centered culture.”

Sandlin has 26 years in the insurance industry. Prior to joining SGP, she was vice president and branch manager for CNA Insurance Company in Houston. She is an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and is active in professional and community organizations in both Houston and Austin including Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels and Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.

She graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin.

Sandlin will be based in SGP’s Austin office at 8900 Shoal Creek, Suite 400.
